Lindsay Lohan gets restraining order over stalker

Lindsay Lohan has been granted a two-year restraining order against alleged stalker David Cocordan.
An LA Superior Court judge ruled on Wednesday that Cocordan must not go within 100 yards of the actress for the next 24 months, reports TMZ.
Lohan was granted a temporary restraining order against the obsessed fan last month when she insisted that she feared for her life after receiving texts from Cocordan which threatened to kill her.
She told a judge at the time that Cocordan "has come to her home at least three times, followed her to public appearances and sent her more than a hundred text messages as well as phone calls".
The LAPD Threat Management Department are said to be handling the case as they have concerns that Cocordan may be suffering from multiple mental health issues including schizophrenia.
Lohan is currently serving approximately 35 days of house arrest as part of her sentence forpleading no contest to charges of jewellery theft.
